I'm Tara Hantman, a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist specializing in adult communication and swallowing disorders. My practice is built on a simple belief: every person deserves individualized, expert care delivered with dignity — wherever they are.

After years of working in hospital and rehabilitation settings across New York, I founded my private practice to offer something the traditional system rarely allows: unhurried, one-to-one attention in the environment where patients actually live and recover.

I work exclusively with adults, which means my clinical focus is deep and specialized. Whether you're recovering from a stroke, managing a progressive neurological condition, or navigating the challenges of aging, I bring the same level of expertise and care to every session.
