Diagnostic Service
In-Home FEES Swallowing Studies
FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) is a gold-standard, evidence-based procedure that allows direct visualization of swallowing function — performed right at your bedside, in a skilled nursing facility, or at home.
Unlike a hospital-based study, in-home FEES eliminates the burden of transport for medically complex patients and provides real-time results that guide immediate treatment decisions.
How It Works
Referral & Scheduling
Physicians, nurses, and care teams can refer directly. We coordinate scheduling to minimize disruption to the patient's routine.
Bedside Evaluation
Tara performs the FEES procedure at the patient's location using portable, state-of-the-art equipment. No transport required.
Results & Recommendations
Immediate findings are shared with the care team. A full written report with diet texture and liquid consistency recommendations follows.
FEES is appropriate for patients with suspected aspiration, unexplained pneumonia, feeding tube dependence, or post-surgical swallowing changes. Referrals accepted from physicians, NPs, PAs, and care coordinators.
